The Avanti R3-4 engine's Prestolite Transistor Ignition system, as used in 1964 Daytona-Commander models,  had the transistor pack and diode  mounted ....?....... (where?)

The factory 'non-R3/R4' location I think was on the passenger side inner fender panel, but I believe the R3 Daytona hardtop that Hot Rod tested had it somewhere behind the grille.
