mfg
Factory '63 Studebaker AvantiĀ three or four speed shift lever boots have a larger mounting base (lip) than '64 model shift lever boots............True?
r1lark
The boot part numbers did change, but I don't have enough Avanti experience to know exactly WHAT the change was. Maybe the boots were coming loose so that's the reason for the larger lip? Sounds plausible but I just don't know for sure. But I'll throw out a guess, that this is TRUE. Good thoughts , however the answer here is FALSE....Reverse the years in this trivia question, and you'd be correct by answering true!
