Seven psi (not "lbs").

My point is that pressure is in pounds per square inch (psi), not pounds (lbs.), a measure of weight.

ANSWER....No air was added to the tires of that Studebaker Avanti during the cross country trips or for the Bonneville high speed runs!:o
