mfg
On Studebaker Avantis, the left cylinder head water outlet end plate, which mounts the water temperature sending unit, is the same plate found on all Studebaker V8's, '55-'64.......True? r1lark
I'll say false......seems like the sender changed somewhere around '57 or so, so the plate on '55/'56/maybe '57 is different. Plus, the '56 Golden Hawk V8 is different (semantics -- Studebaker V8s or V8s in Studebakers? ).....................

Right you are!...'51-'55 (6V) end plates had a larger diameter sender than '56-up 12V jobs!
