RQB-3352 is it an 81’ or 82’

All the litature on the car including the new car warranty and invoice indicate it is a 1981 delivery date 12/04/81.

The title I have says 1982? The vin is the same, how should I represent this car?, as a late 1981 titled as a 1982? or?

My information shows it to be a late 1981 model Avanti.  

It was built and titled when most manufacturers were making 1982 models and it may even have been originally titled in calendar 1982.  This is how the error probably happened, but your Avanti is still a 1981 model year car.
