Does anyone remember the Kvanti?

I was daydreaming just now and I remember an article in Turning Wheels in the mid 80’s (I think). A fellow transformed his Studebaker Avanti into a 4cyl front wheel drive engineering marvel. He called it the  Kvanti front clip from Chrysler K car.

Yes, I remember that Kvanti.  I believe that I saw it in Las Vegas at the 1989 SDC International Convention (may have been joint with AOAI).  The K-car part was not very old at that time.  The set-up used did not have enough power for the weight of the car (IMO).
