Can anyone explain why the following three dates are of importance in the history of the Studebaker Avanti?.........3/19/61, 4/5/61, and 4/27/61

3/6/61 is when Egbert made the initial sketch on a plane flight to California.  I am guessing that the dates are the hiring of Loewy, the formation of the design team and the rental of the "design house".

Good thoughts, however those are not the events which happened on the listed dates.:(

4/27/61 is when the clay model was approved for production (by the BoD).    The other dates are likely the beginning and end of the design phase.
