My how times have changed!..........In 1970, George Krem advertised for sale an Avanti (R1) powered '64 GT Hawk.....This Hawk had the complete Avanti High-Performance package, P/S, Powershift,

Disc brakes, Bordeaux Red, Very solid car,... and cost $4,174 when new............George was asking .......?........ for this  Studebaker!!

I will guess 2) $895.  It was a six year old used car then and not quite to the bottom of its depreciation curve.  A little later than this, I sold my complete, running 1964 Hawk for $250 (IIRC - it may have been less).
