mfg Posted November 18, 2017 Report Share Posted November 18, 2017 Over the years, two rather major modifications were made to Avanti R5642 (the second to last Studebaker Avanti produced, and one of the nine production line R3's) One of the modifications was a Chrysler type 'split' brake master cylinder,...the other was........?.......... It does look like the 'Transignitor Ignition' may have been modified or replaced, but that is not the 'major modification' we're looking for here Gary.
