mfg
Studebaker Avanti 'R3 type' wrist pins 'float' in the rod and 'press fit' into the pistons........True?
brad
Other way around. They press into the rods, and float in the pistons. I don't like this setup, as the rod can work loose and score the cylinder wall. I like modern pistons with spiral locks to keep the pin from walking.
