mfg
Concerning the 1963 Studebaker Avanti, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) said the following about this 'new' car.........(FILL IN THE FOUR BLANKS!)............................... "For once, it is the pleasant position of the design & engineering staffs to create a vehicle for a specific purpose, with emphasis on ---- -- ----- --, rather than how many units could be sold." r1lark
"what it could do" Just as an aside, technically the SAE didn't "say" this -- Studebaker engineers Hardig and deBlumenthal said this in the paper "The Avanti by Studebaker" which was published by the SAE. But this is not picking at you Ed, just making things clear!
