mfg
Moving right along!....................Anyone know why Studebaker engineers didn't seal the choke 'butterfly' valve shaft on the Avanti R2's carburetor?
r1lark
Because there is no fuel there -- in other words, all that will be pushed out from around the choke butterfly shaft by the positive pressure of the blower will be air. It's the places where fuel would be pushed out that they needed to worry about.
