mfg Posted February 22, 2017 Report Posted February 22, 2017 In the small world of genuine R3-4 Studebaker engines, why are engines B-78 & B-92 a little more unique than the others?
r1lark Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Were these the NOS R-3 and R-4 engines, both owned by Paul Johnson, and at one time displayed at the museum? (I believe Paul sold the R-3 but still owns the R-4.) IIRC, the R-4 was painted blue. Here they are in the crates when Paul opened them up:
