It's an easy job to convert a 'full flow' Studebaker V8 engine into a NON full flow engine ......True?

I wonder if it's a trick question,

My answer is yes, they use a little cover to replace the oil filter base mounting on the block . The cover allows the oil to flow through the passages and continue on its route. A partial flow filter off the head is used to filter the oil.

Especilally handy on rhd cars were the reach rod strikes the oil filter and restricts your turning ability.
