Mike Sal
The grills of my fresh air vents were in the trunk of the car when we got it ('70 RQA 0330) & not sure why, but I noticed that the vacuum metallized finish is faded off much of it. Are good ones available or is painting them acceptable? I'm not sure why they wanted them in a bright finish to begin with....seems like a dark color would have been better....how much attention does a vent need anyway.... mfg
The Avanti factory began using painted ones probably shortly after your car was built....The chromed ones are hard to find in good shape....I think I'd just paint the ones you have and be done with it! Mike Sal
My car was built in September '69 (my freshman year of high school). What color paint did they use?
