Has Anyone Converted from power to manual widows ??

I have a 74 that has power windows and for as much as I use the Car I was thinking about converting to manual widows having a HARD time finding NOS MOTORS i don't want Chinese Knock offs I would buy a good set of used original motors and have them rebuilt my motor just fell apart because of age

I compared my Hawk winders to my Avanti winders and I think it can be done.

You need to use the Hawk manual winder mechanism and the top part of the Avanti mechanism.

If they are laid out in front of you it is easy to see which rivet you need to remove to swap things over.

I have not personally done this but have compared my spare Gt Hawk winders with my Avanti electric and manual winders and it looks a simple enough switch.
