mfg
A supercharger from a '57 Golden Hawk is a direct 'bolt on' replacement for a Paxton SN-60 unit on a 1964 Super Lark R2......True?
r1lark
I will say false. I'm pretty sure the outlet (back plate) has to be 're-clocked' to line up with the 4 barrel bonnet. Also, there is no provision on the GT to operate the high/low ratio solenoid. Plus, it just won't look right .
mfg
I would say the answer here is TRUE on this question.......Although r1lark is correct concerning things that would need to be done to install and run the earlier blower properly,....I feel that these changes all fit well within the parameters of 'bolt on'! As far as 'looks' go, the VS-57 actually looks better! (IMHO)
r1lark
We will have to 'agree to disagree' on this one.
