mfg
Technically, Studebaker Avanti R-4130, (the Egbert car), is a 1963 model.........True?
BRitz
I believe that that would be FALSE. It was the 1st 1964 model, correct?
studegary
I believe that is true. It is an earlier number than even the 1963 1/2 models. Wasn't the first 1964, R-4835?
mfg
I'd agree with studegary on this. Although BRitz is correct when he says on the surface it's considered a '64, technically, it was a late '63 pulled off the line and used as a mule for the proposed '64 styling changes....and that awesome R3 engine!
