erniebrown Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Is the Paint Code for the 2007 Avanti Giallo Yellow a Lamborghini color. If it is, what year applies to it. . . our car recently had some work done on it, but the color needs attention. Thank you for taking time for us.
aardvark Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Seems there likely isn't an answer out there. There are a number of unanswered issues with these cars.

Colors were really a problem with the later models. My 2006 states "Furza Red" on the window sticker. We searched high a low and never found a Furza Red color code. Since you could pretty much select any color that you wanted, I'm guessing some of the color names were made up as they painted them. It's really not an issue since most all body shops today can match paint using a scanner. A local body shop did that for me when doing some paint work and supplied me with a quart of the paint and clear coat after the repair. The paint was a perfect match also.
aardvark Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 Ron. Your fortunate to even have a window sticker showing details (including paint color).. The only way I knew my paint color was from Your info (emerald green)., but as You state, the only way to match with paint fade and other issues over time is a ''scanner''.
erniebrown Posted March 25 Author Report Posted March 25 So my paint shop told me that the color is a 2005 lamborghini color, just as it says on the Window Sticker, Giallo Yellow.
aardvark Posted March 25 Report Posted March 25 Ernie. Paint fade and age makes all of that senseless.. Just get it scanned.
John Hull Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Information including on early 2001-2004 VR Avantis and 2005-2007 Avanti exists because I spent countless hours documenting photo copying all available information the cars. The information exists because I knew it would be of value at some point in time. I am still transitioning out of boxes as a result of my move. On the 2001-2004 cars I have the GM Certificate of Origin for the Pontiac Firebird, GM Window stickers including selling dealer Avanti Certificate of Origins build sheets etc. The information exists because I went above and beyond to find it copy it document it. Supposition on what exists is counter productive I will make the information available for purchase when I can get to it. If i keep reading this type of crap as I have stated factually it exists I have it and will share when time allows and I'm ready
