Avanti Shifter...

Has anyone out there in Avantiland converted there four speed Stude Avanti to a Hurst shifter...and still have the original shifter setup collecting dust under their workbench?....I'd like to purchase it! 🙂

Back in around 1974 we put a Hurst in my 64 Daytona R1.  Can’t remember what happened to the factory one, most likely thrown in the dumpster. Things we did without thinking ahead!  The Hurst made an incredible improvement. Mike

Thanks for reply Mike...a lot of original pieces went that way! 😭

The Avanti shifter assy is a bit different from Hawk/Lark.....longer shift rods, and a bracket that centers shift mechanism over rear of extension housing.
