On a Studebaker Avanti, name two locations in the throttle linkage where serious 'wear' will, after several years, become evident?

Yes, that steel shaft will wear the aluminum casting, sometimes causing a vacuum leak...but I'm speaking about the throttle linkage itself...Any other thoughts?

I’ve had the ball joint on the linkage come apart. There are two of them.

It's funny you mention that...I just 'repaired' one yesterday by folding the opening around the ball back in place with a flat punch & hammer...definite wear point!
