mfg
I have to say, Gunslinger is pretty sharp!!....Correct answer!...Why?....Several '64 Avantis had their door's interior trim panels robbed of their 'pirates buckles' to replace the tired and weathered EXTERIOR 'pirates buckles'. (Same part) This helped renew the appearance of the outside of the car. (Although this move did NOTHING for the interior of the car! This would sometimes happen in the days prior to 'repo' 'pirates buckles'...when the existing supply of NOS ones was starting to run low.
