Stuart Boblett
On my 82 I find that the line from the purge valve to the fuel vapor canister carb port is very deteriorated and I would like to replace it. The ends of the line both have a fittingĀ not a clamp that I cannot figure out how to remove from the nipple on the canister or the purge valve, can someone help? AD
Could you post a picture of the hose you're trying to remove?
Ron Dame
On my '80, I found one hose of a molded two-hose connector to the purge valve rotted. I cut the rotted hose off, took a 3/4" long section of brake line, pushed into the connector fitting, and re[placed the line. A dad of liquid tape to assure a seal, and it's invisible unless you look close.
