mfg
As significant a vehicle as the last Studebaker Avanti built is, (R5643), it never made it onto The National Historic Register......True?
lschuc
False. The last Avanti, R5643 was displayed on the National Mall, but is not on the National Historic VEHICLE Register. There are 30 cars listed on the National Historic Vehicle Register, administered by Hagerty, but not the Avanti. mfg
Well, I must say that if those folks consider a '64 Impala or an '84 Caravan to be historic, I don't mind so much the Avanti isn't on their list !!!
