mfg
In the year 1961, what 'Studebaker related' subject did Sherwood Egbert and Brooks Stevens agree on, against the advice of some other Studebaker management people?
Gunslinger
I believe that would be not just redesigning the Hawk, but not discontinuing it altogether.

64Avanti
I remember in 1961 when I was only 10 (I think I was interested in cars when I was 8 or 9) that Studebaker was considering dropping the Hawk model and perhaps calling a 2 door Lark with 289 and bucket seats a Hawk. I was very happy when the 62 model came out.
