mfg Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 An acceptable method of increasing oil pressure in a Studebaker V8 is to install a stiffer oil pressure relief valve spring.....True?
brad Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 false. That would only increase the point where the relief opens, It doesn't actually increase what the pump puts out. If you never reach the point of the relief valve opening, you wouldn't notice any difference.
mfg Posted March 8, 2015 Author Report Posted March 8, 2015 Yep!....very bad idea!....Answer...FALSE!
