psdenno Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 In 1942, Loewy discussed cars of the future. One of the concepts he envisioned is evident on the current TESLA automobile. What is it?
Gunslinger Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 Loewy predicted future cars would be designed around their engine rather than a conventional front- or rear-engine configuration. The Tesla is designed around its EV motor and transmission...and batteries! If you've looked at a Tesla close-up it's amazing how much of it is battery.

I've looked and them, done a test drive, and have owned stock in the company for years. Neat car. As for the Answer you gave, not the one I had in mind. And other guesses on his 1942 prediction about future cars? Dennis
