mfg
What is a major concern for an auto painter who is prepping a fully primed, razor straight Avanti body for paint by 'wet sanding', that he would not have to be concerned about if he were 'wet sanding', say, a Studebaker Lark's body? brad
Not if it is sealed properly by not using lacquer. You don't have to worry about moisture if one uses urethane.
mfg
Not if it is sealed properly by not using lacquer. You don't have to worry about moisture if one uses urethane. No matter what type of primer is used, any 'sand throughs' will allow moisture to permeate the underlying fiberglass. Hence the moisture absobtion issue not found when prepping steel bodies.
