mfg Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 What are two inferior aspects of the Avanti R3 V8's carburetor 'air box' in comparison to the '57 Studebaker Golden Hawk's carburetor 'air box'?
mfg Posted December 13, 2014 Author Report Posted December 13, 2014 The R3 box is 'bigger'....but not 'better'....Why?
brad Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) You have to take off the "R3" emblem/ cover to get at the idle adjustment screws. The fuel line passes through a white rubber stopper instead of a threaded fitting. no provision for fuel spillage either. Edited December 14, 2014 by brad
