mfg
The tailamp--back up lamp arrangement on the Studebaker Avanti was something of a compromise design....Can anyone explain this statement?
Gunslinger
Originally the b/u lamps were to be much closer to the turn signal housings as if they were one piece. They were moved away since it was expected there would be some trunk alignment issues that would magnify the misalignment between the tail lights and b/u lights. Separated any differences would not be no apparent.
