mfg Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Raymond Loewy was never happy about the fact that the Studebaker Avanti had no external trunk release.....True?
Gunslinger Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I don't know about RL, but I think a number of owners were unhappy about that when the cable broke...especially with a trunk full of stuff blocking access to the lock mechanism.
AnAvantiR1for Bob Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I would think that Raymond Loewy would have insisted on NO external trunk release and for good measure no (or worthless) sun visors. I would venture the statement is false

Guest dapy Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 RL would roll over in his grave (BTW where is it), if he saw the evolution of modern Avantis.
