Do Studebaker "engineers" actually paint cars?

I probably should have written 'Studebaker engineering', or 'Experimental paint shop'. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

If not, they should have, I have seen silver Avantis, and thought they looked very nice.

I agree with brad's comments on Avantis which are painted silver. The answer to this question is FALSE....If Studebaker did, they sure didn't publicize it!
