mfg
Excepting for the inevitable ever so slight color variance between mixes, The Dupont version of "Avanti Turquoise" (Dupont code 4444L) should look the same as the Ditzler (PPG) (Ditzler code12525) version of "Avanti Turquoise"........True? (Studebaker code P-6332)
brad
Seems to me, the Dupont is richer in saturation. ( deeper and a little less metallic)
mfg
Yes, brad's 'been there' and has probably seen this issue. In all honesty, the two paint formulas really are 'night and day'....to the point where they look like completely different colors.(I'd like to qualify that statement by saying-- That's how it was when using the original lacquers, modern paint versions of 'Avanti Turquoise' from the two companies just might be 'Right On'!)
