mfg Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 On R3 Avantis, Studebaker used the same upper control arms with threaded steel inner bushings as used on '51-'52 Studebaker cars. But '51-'52 cars also used a LOWER control arm with threaded steel inner bushings. The reason Stude engineers opted not to use the '51-'52 lower control arm on R3 Avantis was due to not having enough of these earlier lower arms in stock.....True?
