Trivia!....Avanti Door Handles

Trivia...The exterior door handles on an '85 Avanti will directly interchange with those on a '64 Avanti....True?

Nope. The door handles originally had the key lock integrated with them. That changed in the mid-70s to the key lock being moved into the door itself. At a glance the handle assemblies look the same.
