I do remember the number 63RQ1430 on a tag inside the engine compartment, must have been riveted to the body. Does anyone know this car? Or, is there any relation between the body number and the VIN? Gunslinger Posted January 27, 2011 Report Share Posted January 27, 2011 The body number on tag has no real relation to the car's serial number. There was no attempt to match body numbers to serial numbers. Since your old car was pretty early in the production run it's probably close to the frame number. Build sheets are by serial number and they show the body number, but to my knowledge there's no database showing the reverse. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
