mfg Posted November 29, 2019 Report Posted November 29, 2019 On Studebaker Avanti 63R1007 (Bonneville #9) the fiberglass reinforcing cross brace (on the underside of the hood) was removed by the Granatellis to clear the R3 engine assembly.......True?
studegary Posted December 8, 2019 Report Posted December 8, 2019 This sounds familiar, so I will say that this is True. Later R3s were lowered with thinner engine mounts.

R3studee Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) Bodies were lifted in the front for clearance on all factory R3 Avantis built for production. Not sure about the mules or bonneville cars. Edited January 2, 2020 by R3studee
