There are a number of Avantis (1963 to 1985 and 2001-2005) in Switzerland, France and Germany. The Swiss Avanti club usually has a nice meeting in May or June each year. You can contact Alfred Vacano in Arbon, Switzerland, a.vacano@gmx.ch for more details of their club.

Trying to reach Lewis Schucart: need B post silver decal for 1983 Avanti
lschuc replied to forward's topic in 1965-83 Avanti
Jim, I'll call you later... but my contact information, email and phone is in any issue of Avanti Magazine, and I've had the classified ad in some of the magazines too. -
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the passage of ERISA — the Employee Retirement Income Security Act — which regulates and safeguards workers enrolled in private pension plans. Before 1974, private company pension plans, which date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, were informally administered, had little oversight or requirements, had no controls and were targets for corruption. It took several high-profile pension failures and inadequacies to spur the law that now protects the more than 75% of workers enrolled in company pension plans. That’s where the Avanti and form South Bend UAW Local 5 Lester Fox enter the picture. https://insurancenewsnet.com/innarticle/50-years-of-erisa

Correct way to install the exterior headlight retaining ring gasket
lschuc replied to Mark L's topic in 1963-64 Avanti
I don't know where your headlight gaskets came from, but the absolutely correct rubber gaskets and NEW round or square headlight glass is available from Endurance Built Products. [https://endurancebuiltproducts.com ] I believe that Studebaker International also carries both of the above too. -

That's what I did some years ago! -
That would have been George Dimitsas with Olympus Avanti who had made and sold stainless steel hog troughs/torque boxes. He moved to Sevierville, Tennessee about 10-15 years ago. He only had them made and sold, but not installed. Olympus Avanti ads and contact information are in Avanti Magazine. His ad still lists the torque boxes.

If you're reading this post, you already know that the AOAI Forums are back online. There was a main server problem last week that we got resolved fairly quick, bringing back the main site, aoai.org and the shopping cart at aoai.org/shop, but several things got out of sync on this forum and either pages would not load or users could not post or log in. It is finally resolved today (Tuesday, July 9) and everything is back. You may notice some posts will show broken/missing images. I'm working to re-sync images with their posts and they should be viewable sometime this week.

they look like old Appliance brand wheels.... What is the serial number on the frame plate. That would let you look up the production order and see how it was originally equipped, ie: color, interior, etc.

There were only 3 AVX automobiles. All were 1997 models. The first is a coupe, the second is a convertible, and third is a t-top model. the 2001 to 2005 Avantis were based on the three AVX models and look similar, but I heard that none of the body panels on the 2001 to 2005 Avantis will interchange with the AVX models. https://www.theavanti.com/avx.html https://www.theavanti.com/bunting.html

If your web browser screen is on the narrow view, then the page options to click on are in a dropdown list at the right hand corner of your web page. If your browser window is wider, you'll see the various pages spread across the page under the page header. Here is a screen show of what I talk about, if your web browser window is too narrow, or maybe on a smaller screen like a tablet). I circled in red the drop down menu: If. you click on those lines in the drop down, you'll see the various pages to go to: Here is the same homepage on a wider screen:
