  1. We did and all is well. . .
  2. So my paint shop told me that the color is a 2005 lamborghini color, just as it says on the Window Sticker, Giallo Yellow.
  3. Is the Paint Code for the 2007 Avanti Giallo Yellow a Lamborghini color. If it is, what year applies to it. . . our car recently had some work done on it, but the color needs attention. Thank you for taking time for us.
  4. Im very glad that John Hull, wrote his books, and kept the material, and I for one applaud the fact that he is able to assist. Take all the time you want, I am grateful for your help. I particularly appreciated your response to a few texts that I sent. A HUGE THANK YOU FROM ARAB, ALABAMA
  5. I dont need any, but saved the listing just in case. . .
  6. Thank you! I have several lists of the production numbers, none of them align with one another, but one thing is certain, there were not many produced in 2005-2007 and the numbers of known to still exist is even less. . .I am a proud owner, I have wanted an Avanti since I was young, I remember walking down the street with my father, who was stationed at Beale Air Force Base, and asking, what is that. . .he said and I quote, "That is a Studebaker, it is their sports car, it is an Avanti-(having just returned from Italy) you know that means Forward. Those Studebakers have always been ahead of everyone! That last quote is one of the ones I hear the most about our cars. My Avanti is at the boat shop getting some work done on it. . .but it should be out next week. I love late winter in Alabama it feels like Summer in Michigan!
  7. Ron, thank you for the production numbers, I have printed them and added them to my binder for the next owner. . .they are going to have to wait a long time. .E
  8. If someone finds one. . .I can assist in making a PDF out of it for the rest of us without one. . .what a great mission.
  9. I just bought the John Hull book, and this may sound trite, but I like the fact that no one seems to know exactly about the production numbers, of the last generation of cars. I find it quite mysterious. I am a bit late for the dance, but candidly admit as a long time Studebaker owner, that this last generation of Avanti's was right in my wheelhouse, I bought a car that was ready to drive and invested much less that I did on the restorations of the 1957 TranStar and the 1962 GT Hawk. I just love reading all your comments, and I am taking notes on information.
  10. Perfectly done. . .I am hopeful that at some point we can create a directory of those cars that were a part of the last generation-maybe with photos.
  11. All is finished and a new server is in place-thank you for tolerating this window!
  12. Since I am new to here, and we have texted and emailed, I want to confirm that you have the information concerning our 07 Convertible?
  13. California Pony Cars-I just read right through it. . .sorry-E
  14. Nice car, great history, I bought her sister-with the work that has been done, you cannot buy another for this money in this condition.
  15. The SDC board meets this weekend and will address moving servers for future strength to the site.
  16. Im watching and learning. . .thank you for the posts
