Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this 63 Avanti that is for sale on Ebay.

Looks like a nice car but get it up in the air and look at it hard. You don't see many originals with undercoated mufflers. That looks recent. Not downgrading the car just be very careful when someone claims original on a 50+ yo vehicle.

I am not clear about the car discussed here. Did it sell at eBay? Another R2 (white) is at BaT with a few days to go. Appears mechanically OK, but paint is a question. My guess is that it will sell reasonably for an R2. 

I am still looking for AOAI members in the Houston area. AOAI staff have not been helpful.

Didn't sell on Ebay. Looks nice but you never know. Hope you can find members in your area.

Are you shopping for a R2 or selling one? I am an eBay believer. Over 30 old cars bought and sold there. Four were Avantis as is my latest.

Was thinking about buying an R2. I have a 90 now with less than 6k miles. It was in the winter/spring Avanti magazine. I wouldn't mind adding a nice R2.
