I have a 1984 Touring Coupe. The wheels seem unique and I have not seen another Avanti with the same wheels.

Can someone tell me any history on these wheels?

These are an Ultra after market wheel, with an Avanti sticker on them.  The real wheels were a Western Wheel made by Rockwell, simular to those used on Pontiac's Trans Am in a honey comb pattern blacked out centers and bright aluminum outer section.  Lou Cote   RQB 4240 Touring Coupe Package

Thanks for reply. It's nice to see the forum active.

This explains why these wheels are not common. I will say, that the Avanti Emblem is not a sticker, but a plastic insert that they must have made for these cars.

I love the way these wheels look on the car.

Anyone else have these wheels?

If it's an 1 1/2" or so, the plastic disc was an item available from Avanti parts sellers that has become quite difficult to find. Found a set for my 74 with Mustang wheels.

BTW, I like your wheels - They look like they belong on the car.

Cool! Great looking car!

Thanks for the photos!

(wonder what happened to the original wheels on my car!)

You may have had the wire wheels or stock rims with wire hubcaps. You can order a build sheet for your car.  Check with Dan Booth at  1 800 AVANTI X or 1 800 AVANTI 1   . Lou Cote
