Mass air air flow sensor??

Can anyone confirm what this part is? On my 83 Avanti with a 305

Doesn't look like any MAF I've seen. It's difficult to see where it's located but I'll bet it's emissions related. I still have a lot of that junk off my 83 305 so take a shot further back.

I just took it off an hour ago found out with some searching it's a Diverter Valve. Found a brand new one for 100 bucks here in Texas.

Diverter valve is part of the smog pump/ air injection system.  Lou Cote
