gold63
Does anyone have or know of a replacement switch for the Carling 9714 headlight rocker switch? Mine has gone bad. I have taken it apart, cleaned and tried to no avail to repair. Headlights come on but with no park or dash lights. Park lights work in the "park" position, just not in the full "on" position. Can jumper a wire across so they work together , so I know it is in the switch. Any ideas for a replacement? This is on my 85. gold63
Thanks Silverstude. Talked to a really nice tech rep at Allied /Carling on Monday and described my situation. He said to email him some pictures of the switch and they would come up with a replacement. Tuesday I took the switch apart one more time , completely cleaned the inside, buffed and rearched the contacts, applied some new dielectric grease and put back together. Lights are working as they should.
