The Avanti Bonneville R5 engine was rated at approximately, 4) 638 [gross] horsepower.

The body was pushing against 200 MPH while the tachometer was indicating the wheels were exceeding 200 MPH. This achievement attained on wet salt with a gently massaged stock body and (638 gross / ~575 net / ~480 wheel) horsepower. I am impressed with what the car did at that time.
