jlportugal Posted October 3, 2016 Report Share Posted October 3, 2016 Hi, My avanti II 1981 is undergoing electrical rehabilitation and I have found a strange light (looking like a square red buton) just behind the courtesy light underneath the dashboard. The cable are not connected and I don't know what is it for and how it works; any idea? Thank you in advance for your answers. mfg Posted October 3, 2016 Report Share Posted October 3, 2016 That light is original factory equipment,...its purpose is to illuminate the console heater controls & air conditioning controls in a soft red light....Looks pretty good at night I think!! I should assume it is illuminated when the instruments lights on the dashboard are ON ( button above the windshield)? or separately ?
