JWL1940
The front seats on R4541 are comfortable, but the adjustment does not provide enough leg room for me. I feel a bit cramped by being too close to the steering wheel and pedals. To remedy this I moved the driver's seat. I made up some brackets that raise the front of the seat about 1" and move it rearward about 2-3/4". The result is a much more comfortable driving position. An easy afternoon project. mfg
Good for you!...I did pretty much the same thing to my own '63 Avanti years ago. Better to 'bite the bullet' and solve a problem like that, than to just 'live with it' and be uncomfortable!
JWL1940
I liked the new position on the driver's seat so much that I am now going to do the same to the passenger seat. The mod really makes a big difference in comfort. I also find that with the front of the seat raised just a bit it provides more support to the thighs. MARK
I too adjusted the front seat for more let room. So much more comfortable getting in and out. Oh, I don't have that big belly bulge ,yet. Mark
