schuyler Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Any word on the expected 63 Avanti judging manual? BTW, thanks for all the work on the manual!
brad Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) It is not, nor has it ever been, intended to be a judging manual. Judging is up to the discretion of every meet, and every chapter, and varies all over the place. It is dependent on volunteers that give of their time and patience. The AUTHENTICITY manual is still being edited, and should be out in a month or two. Edited January 4, 2016 by brad

rfeller Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks to all comments on the Authenticity Manual. I am in the last of the assembly and finish phase of a frame off restoration of my 63 R2 Avanti and since I have invested so much money I want to make sure the car is correct for show competition. Does anyone have photos for a reference that they would be willing to share? feller
mtgibby Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Feller, I don't have what you are asking for, but I am also restoring a 63 R2, 2302, just two cars ahead of yours on the assembly line! I would love to know more about your car. Back to the subject at hand; how will this manual be sold/distributed? Thanks! Mike mtgibby@hotmail.com
dynolou2 Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 AOAI will publish and make available for it's members. There will be a cost but that has yet to be determined. Lou Cote
dynolou2 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 Al Basile has finished the editor's job, the manual has been transmitted to Lou Schucart to further format and print copys to be proofread. Lou Cote
abasile Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) The manual is over 350 full color pages. We took the extra time to get it right. I know it has taken a long time; but it will be worth the wait. Al Basile Edited February 2, 2016 by abasile
