mfg
The rear fender 'skirts' used on the R5 Due Cento Avanti during some of its high speed runs at Bonneville were made of fiberglass..........True?
plwindish
I'll bite and say false. I'd think that that large of amount of air getting under the fiberglass might make those skirts pretty hard to keep on the car. Metal ones would be easier to fab and attach the mounting hardware to.
