1974 power steering cylinder

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the power steering cylinder used on the 1974 models is interchangeable with those used on Studebaker Avantis? They certainly look the same. The parts books show that the Studebaker Avantis used the same cylinder/ram as Lark-types.

Yes definitely interchangeable….( thru ‘85) The only power steering slave cylinders that would not interchange would be early (‘59-‘60?) Lark types, which use smaller L+R turn hose fittings.
