rufcar
I tried that one today but the bolt hits the freeze plug at an angle. It needs to be a good 1/2 to 3/4" shorter. Tkx
EnduroDriver
Trying to find the article but basically it outline getting a shorter bolt and grinding a centering tip into it. I haven't done it myself yet, I have the puller and shorter bolt but haven't gotten to that stage in the project yet. Found the article: https://www.studebaker-info.org/Tech/sbca96/psctlv/sdc5272c.html Edited September 4, 2022 by EnduroDriver
rufcar
That article sums it up. I have another bolt I had that was appox 5/8" shorter but it's still too long. A friend has the factory puller shown in the manual. It will be here on tue. Tkx
